I’m convinced that we’re her pets.
And yes, this is exactly what it’s like to live here. And I love it!
I own the Bob and Doug movie, Strange Brew. You’re welcome to bower it if you like. It’s stupid, old and cheesy, funny and very worth watching at least once.
Strange Brew… aaah, now there’s a classic!! Hate to tell ya, but to most Americans, that IS who they think of when they think “Canadians.” 🙂 Either Bob and Doug, or my personal favorite, Red Green. Some of my best quotes are from the Red Green Show. (Sad really.) But you’ve got to love a guy who can make a pontoon boat out of heating ducts that he just ripped out of his house because of course he “won’t need it again until winter.” Love it.
breath taking, i remember my first experience with bob and doug. i had found an old cd that they made and it was just them talking about crullers and triple triples. i ripped them off recently at a retreat i was at where, for kicks, we were to make a skit up in groups playing on national steriotypes. and i was the ‘canadian’ it was great, everyone laughed and i finally fulfilled my need for acceptance, i’m sure they still talk about it…i know i do *ah*.
You’ll be home to walk her soon and you’ll want to remember Bob & Doug’s advice!
